GCA Gallery is proud to organize Kurar's second solo show in the NICE space. Following last year's success, Kurar has made a whole new series of works for his Surreal Reality exhibition.
French artist, born in 1983, he lives and works between Clermont Ferrand and Paris. Street-artist self-taught, it begins in the 90s. He has tried many techniques such as graffiti, collage but also stencil to finish with the work on canvas.
He is a committed artist who discusses current issues and challenges us to take a step back from our vision of society. He deals with sensitive topics such as war, religion, consumer society and environment.
The use and representation of childhood, is a recurring point constituting one of the visual signature of the artist.
The message is strong, with a rather cynical and ironic vision of the world but still punctuated by hope that provokes the support of an increasingly wide audience.
